India took so many years, dont count from 1947, as it was Pakistan who got freedom in 1947. Hindustan....do u knw the history so count and let me know how much years india took to reach the stage there are now.

If India is so powerful why there was division in 1947, why india is still fail to get full control on Kashmir, why India is afraid of holding free elections in Kashmir under United Nation

at the same time reading this, MORE than HALF of the indian population (1billion+) lives under the poverty line.

i know its hard to digest that the country which was poor and whos assets like famous KOHINOOR DIAMOND was taken away.. is still capable of doing great things..
u know India was such a rich country that when the British people tried to get the gold out of India, they had to load 800 big ships to tranfer the gold to there country..
and we are gaining that repu again in such a short period..
hard to digest for other..i know...

 

Please share the source link I'm sure you can't. Indians are often lie about their history and don't want to admit any other opinion. Besides this gold belonged no to whole country but to some particular people.
I was in India twice. I have never seen so terrible poverty and insanitation. But I have to admit that Indians are very cheerful

 

it's not possible to provide source for everything here on net.. go through history and you'll come to know about it! and then too if you want source for it then a LOGICAL source can be provided is " if india was so poor and all you think about then why BRITISHERS came in INDIA and ruled it? what was the reason? even a thief 'll not steal anything from poor? he 'll steal from the one who have something , who are rich! use your logic before asking for source always!

 

you are right! people are not able to digest success of INDIANS! that is why there are racial attacks on INDIANS in AUSTRALIA..

BRITISHERS ruled INDIA for about 200 years and took away our money and gold and made it poor.. and after Independence INDIA has over come in such a short period and may be that is why people are not able to digest it!

Ok...the article might be correct in mentioning some certain things such as the high economic growth and multibillion bourgeoisie class but the article didn't mention the fact that the gap in India's income distribution is also very high. India is still a poor country. For instance, if you compare the facility in Indian universities with other top universities in Southeast Asia, Southeast Asian universities are much better equipped. However, no doubt that Pakistanis should find a way to end their internal conflicts. It is now the time for them go forward before everything is too late and Islamabad becomes another Guam for the U.S.
