Hello mods, I have a personal account here, and want to create an account for my company to use so that we can possibly hire some of DP's best designers. Although the account will be registered to my email, myself and one other project manager may use the account. Would this be breaking TOS? If so, I will call my coworker and make him register instead, but can I get the go ahead to do so, and we can switch the email after I confirm? Trying to make sure I don't harm my personal account in any way, shape or form, I just love DP. Thanks in advance.
Just want to know, if there is a new comer in my company and would like to join DP, how would you differentiate that this new account is owned by my colleague, rather than my "another" account?
Same questions here. Lets say, my employees also got DP accounts and then are on my network always, so same IP. So, are we all going to get banned ? IS IT ? :O
Make sure there is a clear division of labor. If you promote site A, make sure you and only you promote site A. No other member may take over your threads. You may not trade itrader with your workers, trade rep etc. Any appearance of wrong doing with jeopardize your accounts and thouse of your employees.
You won't be banned if the different accounts are legitimate, and they are each doing their own independent business. If each account is creating threads offering the same services, they're likely to be banned. If the other accounts are collaborating in threads or giving itrader, feedback, bumping, or otherwise "teaming up", they will be banned.
yeah Smyrl, Thanks for your clarification. I just got this confirmed from another mod as well. So, I think, Im fine. I havent yet registered my own ID here, but im using his ID now. Since he works here in my office, I just once saw this forum at his PC and used to browse few forums here. Now by next month, once I get free, I will first ask him to stop using his ID and then I will sign up here with my personal account and will be here forever with that. Before that, I will inform a mod to put a note for his username and that new ID, since sometimes, he may login and IP wil be same, since they all work from my router.
He is my guy and he knows, I use to browse the forum here for Paypal Indian Issue. If you want, you can delete this account or ban it. But let me know your email ID, so that when I sign up next month, I should email you before that, that im signing up and IP will be almost same. Thanks.
If we ban your account, you're not permitted to come back again under another name. If you're using this account, then that's the account you stay with. It is not appropriate to represent yourself as someone else, or use their account for any purpose. And if you have information to communicate, you private message the moderators, we don't give out our email addresses.
All right gotcha! So, im logging out of his account and from now on, he will be with his ID, whenever he is on. I will better sign up my own ID this weekend or so. Thanks for the answers, as rules of such big forums sometimes remain like a mystery. Thanks again.
