Twitter traffic

I am having two accounts and getting only 4-5 visitors daily

 

I have 3 accounts totaling over 7,000 followers. I don't know I don't feel I get the kind of traffic, and money I should be from my Twitter accounts. I know it is possible to make money with these people...so I'm not giving up, ever. If you quit then you definitely won't make any money! Never give up guys. ;-)

 

My belief is that if you provide get information to people and not try to sell them all the time you will have better success, you can not expect to run your accounts on automation all the time and have people believe your message, social media is about being transparent and letting others know, let and trust you!

If you can post like 20 tweets per day then you get around 500-1k visitors

 

only 20 posts / day, easy

If your Twitter followers honestly care about your posts, then yes, they may follow the link back to your sites.

That's a big IF.

 

Never got decent traffic from twitter, no matter how hard I try.

 

If you do it right you can get 100's. I started a little method I learned on several of my blogs and the traffic has doubled on almost all of them.

 

wow, I got a spam infraction for my post here, not impressed by it but not sure how the whole dp forum posts work. Is this modded or can people tag your posts as spam?

 

Automating following and unfollowing is not just enough nowadays.. you need to automate generating your contents as well..

 

I agree with iain123 you have to put in some effort and try to build follower confidence

 

i have 1,308 followers on my twitter, and if i will be posting my site their, i am getting 100-200 unique visitors. the technique is you just have to trick the visitors so that they will click the link

 

So they click and realize that they are tricked. Twitter traffic converts very bad.

twitter is basically a micro blogging platform but now these days they are meant for promoting sites. But even though i can say that still there are many twitter people who has nothing to do about it. And as far as building a twitter traffic is concern then try to use tweetdeck, advantage is that shortning of your url so that viewer can't know what url he is clicking. Now use catchy titles along with link so that it can drags viewers attention and in the same way it should be related to your site.

 

Twitter can help you to gain your traffic but will not help you to improve your rankings in SE. Well, you just need to gain your followers in order to succeed in getting a good traffic.

Find people of your interest & follow them, Keep Posting good information in public interest you will definitely have good output.

 

I have about 70 followers and most of them just marketing.
