    PAYPAL is going crazy now a days for Indian buyers and sellers. BUT to my friends, they have strictly mentioned earlier that they will not allow personal payments then i don't know why my friends are trying to attempt and trying to examining the paypal functionality and policies.

    I have already overcome from these issues.

    Who is attempting to withdraw personal payments???? The payments to our banks are stopped since January end this year! The transactions done till Feb 10th (in my case) has been reversed to my PP a/c just less than 2 days back... what other case do they have???

    Paypal reports that "You do not have any cases that match the case ID you entered." (in my case, and possible all others here who may not have checked the Resolution Center for any details...). Their own system contradicts their claims, which are thoroughly UNPROFESSIONAL as proven millions of times before... I have copy/pasted the case ID from their official email to me as well as their website, so there is no question of any error-inputs in to their find Case ID box...

    Paypal itself didn't knew any solutions and obviously didn't offer any till then...


    Their case ID has no answers through their own resolution center. What are you talking about??? Please be serious here.

    Not only personal and premier accounts. My wife and me both have individual merchant accounts. But my account is limited.

    my account too limited but thank god i have already sent money to my friend in US.and he shifted that money to my bank account yesterday via xoom :) .but any solution on limited accounts? we have lot of work to do .every time we cannot waste time because of silly paypal issues.

    paypal is playing with indians ....what i feel is that paypal might have used up our money and now it is just playing with us so not making our payments.

    There is only one possibility here, and personally I think this is the case:

    As and when PP opens withdrawal to Indian banks, 1000s of India customers will initiate the withdrawal process. This will be like "A Run On The Bank" (people who don't know what it means can Google for the definition)... As PP must have invested all the funds lying idle in their bank accounts (as every other business would do) and also due to the present-day depleted condition of the world's heavyweight currencies like US$ and GBP, PP must have surely lost a huge sum in the process.

    So they must not be having sufficient funds in their accounts on IMMEDIATELY-available-basis to serve all the withdrawals which could well be in millions of dollars in worth. (Think, avg. Rs. 5000 per withdrawal and 1000s of Indian customers withdrawing in a very shot period situation. It's just like "a run on the bank")... So in order to stop and save that situation, PP is buying time by limiting Indian customers' accounts, thereby saving the situation...

    This can be just my opinion but this is a well-known fact (about a "run on the bank" like situation...). But if this is the case, then PP could have taken us all in confidence and we would certainly have helped them by doing something positive about it. But as usual, they are resorting to their usual approach of unethical stopping customers from using their rights. They have no case against us, but are giving us false excuses and false Case IDs...

    They are absolutely not worth the trust even by the RBI... We Indians now need complete support from our banks and also from the US authorities like the IRS (because PP has US existence and they cannot use unethical means where money and millions of global livelihoods are depended), the DoJ (because PP is using unethical self-made rules and harassing thousands of people from a great nation), and through these great US institutions, the FBI to unearth every such deal..

    We, Indians, should NOT accept such unnecessary and illegal hammering on us from now. I know these are strong words, but it's time to fight for our right for peaceful existence and to earn livelihood through work. Our family depends on this money for which we have correct invoices and payments from our clients... IMO, PP is also just interpreting the RBI rules their own way and to suit their profit areas...

    IMO, its the case of a "run on the bank" like situation for them, and they are buying time by limiting many accounts. There could be 1000s of more such limitations outside our good forums here, and many would sadly opt to stay silent not knowing what to do. ... ... Absolute Bad situation for PP more than bad situation for us Indians because of PP's new unjustified mass-limitations. I can always write off my money held by PP through wrong methods... I can always ask my good clients to pay me using alternate methods which are plentiful.

    Guys, please log in to your PP accounts and see if the Case ID that they mentioned really exists? Please let us know asap.

    my account limited... i am really afraid whether i can get back my money... Just now felt happy that every thing is over but again a new problem.. i don't know know when this is going to resolve..

    me too got the same email,

    Though i have submitted all the information required by them, but i still don't understand why there not any indication about the case,
    I can just see that your information submitted and action as complete, nothing like "review pending" or something ,
    there is no user friendly message, which could help us to know, what is now up on the paypal and what we need to do more, to remove our account limitation.

    If there is any here who has some high authority in paypal, or who can talk with paypal, please get some answers, All guys we need to take some actions,

    I have also send an email to mr.Farhad, Please help me some one, I am really worried.

    or otherwise can you please let me know, when they can close a account and for what reasons they have authority to do so?

    For Indian paypal users whos account got their account limited after Mar-01-2010

    Many Indian paypal users got their account limited as the bank withdrawal issues were coming to an end.
    This poll is to get an actual figure of how much paypal accounts got limited due to the recent events .

    Seems like paypal is behaving very nasty and irresponsible freezing the funds of so many indians at the same time.
    Can they actually do this according to RBI guidelines ?
    Indian banking rules are pretty strict . Is there anything we can do about it ?

    If they continue like this, paypal is gonna lose a big chunk of indian customer base and they all are gonna declare paypal as not trustworthy and a scam !

    Kindly vote in the poll above, so that we can have a clearer statistics of whats going on.

    PS: My account is still active, but i kinda feel its gonna come sooner or later as it has happened before.

    CASE ID does not exist but if you click on RESOLVE button, you will see the last payment you have recd was flagged. It is NOT a personal transaction and they even deducted fees, STILL they have flagged it. Cant we receive payments in limited accounts ? Also, NOT only bak withdrawal but even chq and CC withdrawal is stopped.. just try to do it and you will see the error - Your account is limited..
