Thanks in advance !
Buy ps2 man.. 100$ is cheap for ps2.. Ps3 is complicated. I have never been able to play with ps3 its so complicated... atleast for me
The PS3 owns! I also have a PS2 that i don't use anymore, it's like 9 years old lol it gave me a lot of joy in its time. But now it's PS3 all the way xD
Do they keep dying within a year? I have already lost one and don't plan to buy another one until they fix its problems (which might be never seeing as it was released 4 years ago).
I think you should buy the PS2. They're a great console, and there are plenty of excellent games for it. You can also mod it to run SNES/Neo-Geo games etc RE 3D - http://www.smarthouse.com.au/Gaming/Accessories/L9C7Q3W2 Looks kinda interesting. Get a PS3 as well though.
Don't go with the PS2 (not sure if you are aware since you asked about compatibility of ps3 games on the ps2, but 0 ps3 games are compatible on the ps2 and they no longer produce new ps2 games). I, personally, own both XBOX 360 and PS3 and don't think of either as "complicated." In general I consider both the 360 and PS3 to be equal, even though I prefer online games on the 360 because of Xbox Live. The 360 also does have better (more) exclusives, but they seem to break more frequently (I am on my 4th and had to fix that one myself just the other night). So it is really user's preference, take a look at the exclusives for each and figure out which one you would like better. Either system you go with, buy it from Game Stop and get a PRP (Product Replacement Plan, a sort of extended warranty) for it. I have saved probably $800-$900 on my 360 because of PRP's. P.S. I am pretty sure no consoles currently support 3D gaming. For 3D gaming I believe you need special PC hardware.
They are offering free support for RROD up to 3 year warranty from when you bought it. Mines been fine for about a year now.
Me too support the same suggestions. Still sticking to the PS2 is no more a wise decision, go for PS3 and enjoy the real effects of Video games!
Its better you buy PS3 console. PS2 has been outdated and there lies a huge difference when it comes to graphics. PS3 also supports motion sensor feature and blueray support. Also, you dont find good game releases on Ps2 anymore.
