Is a book about Adwords (even a good one) written or published 3 years ago still accurate?

Yes Perry Marshall's book from 3 years ago is still relevant and genkied is right there is a 2010 version. The things discussed in Perry's book cover's techniques on setting up and running a successful campaign. The major difference is the new adwords interface is easier to get things done. The concepts on running a successful campaign have not changed.

    Hi All,
I think Google Adword Learning center is best for this. This is in visual form and very easy to learn.

Reading through it, I can see some modules which may be useful. But to me, looks like pretty much what you'll see elsewhere, including Perry Marshall. I don't see anything there about how to create great ads. This may be a good start but you'll need more. Depends also on your current knowledge.
