Allah, God of Israel, Jesus, all the same?

I was wondering what you people thought on this idea. My AP teacher seems to think that all three religions have the same God, just differen't literature. (Jewish, Christian, Musilum)

I personally know that there is a difference in Allah, and the christian God, for the Quran says so. The Quran plainly states that Allah is not the God of the trinity. But this isn't common knowledge, and I find that extremely disturbing.

 

I think your AP teacher is right.
All of the religions have the same god but they presents it differently.

 

That shows you need to learn more, do you know that many Christian and Jews in Middle East called god as "Allah"? Its all the same meaning dude, only different language. Please paste the verse when you claim something...

 

If you study Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, you will find that while all three are "monotheistic", you cannot say that all three religions worship the same God.

Take Christianity for example. The Christian God is Triune in nature (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). That difference alone shows that Christians worship a different God than Judaism or Islam.

Excerpt from the Athanasian Creed:

1. Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith.
2. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.
3. But this is the catholic faith: That we worship one God in trinity, and trinity in unity;

The only way to say all three worship the same God is to be ignorant of what all three teach about God.

People who think the gods in all the religions are the same have a very superficial knowledge of who god is in all those religions.

All but one religion worship satan so I guess people who say that are correct. They just don't realize what "god" the false religions worship.

Another thing, Muslims believe that Allah of the Quran is the same as God the Father of the Holy Bible since they do not believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ, nor in God the Holy Spirit who to Muslims is the angel Gabriel. This again causes a problem since if Allah is indeed the same Person as God the Father then the Quran is wrong in saying that Christians believe that the Father is the third of three. Christians teach that the Father is the First Person of the One True Godhead, not the third deity of three gods.

 

Men create Gods, not vice versa. The fact that there are so many would tend to uphold that statement.

I believe in one God and it doesn't matter how we call Him and/or praise Him.

 

Saying all "Gods" are the same God is like saying all rap music sounds the same. Or all Chinese people like alike. Or since you know a few drunk Native Americans, they're all a bunch of drunks.

In otherwords, it's a statement of ignorance.

Men created God as a tool to control and influence the uneducated masses. They all know it is a powerful tool except the actual believers. Society functions fine without religion. Take a look at Amazon tribes, they may lack technology and fancy cars, but they are living a holiday everyday without Christianity.

 

I'm sure you didn't explor this, because if you did you knew the real answer.
