Hi guys, first whew, that PP is finally getting sorted and things may just get back to normal My question is pertaining Indian banks that affliated to Paypal. Barring HDFC, I wanted suggestions or experiences abt netbanking and specifically Paypal. I am little hesitant when it comes to ICCI cos I know they can be crooks but have more faith in their online/netbanking service than SBI which I think would just be full of babus. Is PNB linked to Paypal cos I have only heard good things about PNB. Any information would be appreciated! Thanks
I am unable to understand your question. Please be more specific. If someone else has got the real meaning, please let me know as well. I have an ICICI account that is linked with the paypal and it has always worked fine. Never delayed any payment. A friend of mine is using SBI account for withdrawals and it is also working fine. What exactly you want to ask sir?
Hi, sorry for the typos. Been sick for the past couple of days so blame antibiotics for the grammatical mistakes. I wanted to know everyones experience using the net banking facilities of the 3 banks mentioned above. As you said your happy with ICICI which makes me want to consider opening a new account. I also wanted to know if Punjab National Bank is also linked with Paypal?
There is no bank linked with PayPal but you can use any of those 3 banks at PayPal. I'll prefer to go for SBI. I'm using it in my personal PP account and I always got my funds at every 3rd OR 4th day in my bank account after withdrawal from PayPal.
I am not sure about the PNB as I have never used their service for almost nothing. ICICI is going good for me. So, you sure can use their service. I have opted for Net banking and mobile banking both. ICICI provides nice services, though you can always go for any other bank ( do survey first ) And that's okay, all of us are facing the same problem. hehe..PayPal and RBI made us all sick.
Thanks guys. I was thinking of opening SBI to handle PP and PNB for xoom (not paypal funded transaction) since it provides cash picks up, checks etc.
I have AIXS, HDFC, SBI account, but prefer SBI and AXIS. Want to go with Corporation / IOB bank also throwing away HDFC- somehow feeling uncomfortable. AXIS took 17-18 hours to get fund from XOOM last time.
I hear RBI is forcing Paypal to allow account holders to withdraw money in the currency earned. That would be really cool, since ICICI has some pretty low conversion few unlike Paypal. What other options does one have besides Paypal?
so you mean we can withdraw USD from local banks now ... or if you mean RBI is forcing to pay paypal in USD to banks ... lol Come on ! dont be silly and get some practical thoughts.
LOL, Don't be stupid now! How can one withdraw in USD I only meant, RBI will want Paypal to transfer the money to Indian banks in USD or whatever foreign currency you earned in.
Now aren't you eager, lol. I wish RBI could get its way as much as you wish. I remember reading it in one of the forums, am afraid not valid enough to call it a reliable source.
I use SBI, never had an issue... But, I must tell you Citi Bank is where Paypal's bank account is located (they even send cheques of Citi Bank), so in case you can get an account with them, the process could be a bit quicker, this is what I feel... if anyone have Citi Bank a/c, please update your experience.
I have an account with SBI and an account with IDBI Bank too.. I always used my SBI account for all of my transactions with Paypal.. Never had an issue of lost funds.. Almost everytime, I received the Bank withdrawals within 3-4 days.. Recently, I did a debit card withdrawal and it got through within 4 days..
Whatever the way of sending payment used by paypal that does not affect choosing the bank.. ICICI netbanking is most secure ... It is almost impossible to do unauthorized transfers from your account as it has 3 level of security for fund transfer.. So for net savvy people who want to use netbanking alot ICICI must be best choice..
thats more stupid of you , i dont wanna fight here . So you are saying now paypal will send request for NEFT in USD , means we gonna see two sections in our saving accounts saying XXX INR | XXX USD ... hahah , cant stop laughing man .. ... wow what a thinking. anyways . dont wanna argue more on useless post.
I have experienced ICICI, HDFC and SBI bank width drawls. With no issues. I found people are bit hesitant of using HDFC BANK. I widthdraw all my paypal funds to my HDFC Bank. I have Corporate A/c with them.
