Why not, however if you are serious and are going to put in the effort to bring that massive traffic, use wordpress, set up your own website and then bring the massive traffic. I have made that mistake before in 2003 I started a website forum and used a forum program and built the forum up and guess what I made no money and had no control , learn from my mistakes, dont make the same.

Thanks, I left it becuase that was my goal years earlier and it was time. My wife left it since its hard to get vacation time working a job. We did 3 months traveling last year and this year hope to the same or more (2 weeks already, 1.5 weeks more this month).

Thankx for this quick reply. but instead of using wordpress i am using blogspot. For keyword "personality development" my blog ranks in the third page. My motto is to bring it to the first but this keyword got a very high competition so i even can not leave it and start another. Anyway your report was nice, some tricks are new to me. And what you think of auto blogs?

 

If you are that developed, then its hard. Others please learn from both of us. Its hard to chance on you built it big.

I am staying away from auto anything (Except video submission), I think outsourcing it is a better more effective solution.

Yah, but still struggling for getting traffic. Social bookmarking is not positive for me neither article marketing. But it has not been a long duration i am promoting it. Hope my works will show longterm effect sooner or later. But i am thinking to create micro niche sites, having low competition which leads to high and fast ranking in search engines. What do you suggest? One quality blog with more than 200 blog posts targeted to particular keywords or 100s of micro blogs (5-10 posts) with different niche having low competition for ranking? I am asking you cz you are experienced and being involved in online marketing for 6 years. please give me your sincere opinion.

 

I suggest you make a website around something you enjoy and passionate about in a niche market.

When marketing a lot of what I do does not work. How I made this report, I went to Google Analytics for my websites and looked at the ones that gave me the most results and in 1/2 a day this report was done. The only one that I am not crazy about, however is the #1 way to drive traffic by others is Article Marketing, but it does give me some visitors, a few hundred a month. So keep working away at it, working or not working...keep going.

Another marketing method I did not mention in this report and works really well. It is not free, but it brings me a lot of traffic is affiliates, use people are who are very good or have website related to your website.

I did not include it since its not free, but I got websites that generate over 15000+ leads a month and I pay for each sale they generate me.

So, if you would start from scratch now knowing all you know, in the same niche and may be with the same offers, and had only 3 hours a day to spend on online marketing.

- how fast could you reach $10,000 uniques per months
- how fast could you reach revenue of at least $5,000 per month and what kind of monetization methods would you choose
- considering time constrains, which of mentioned methods would you focus on (since time would be the only resource available and it's only 18 hours a week (6 days)?

It would vary from industry to industry, person to person. There is no exact. If you spend x hours a week, it would take y time to get $10,000 a month.

I got methods that get me 10,000 visitors a month in one market, but I could give away million dollars, high value free stuff and would NEVER duplicate in another industry. This methods video marketing I am talking about.

My top 5 traffic sources on each website I got differs from other websites. The most common is search engines and direct traffic.

So I would say this
- Run it like a business
- Test, Track, Do More
- Focus on 1 website and keep working at it.

Yes, Mukul, it's all obviously understandable... So, help be to grasp this. I see 3 videos on your account - each are only 20-50 visits. How can it be main source of traffic.

And please don't get me wrong. I am not being difficult, just trying to understand what i am missing in your formula.

 

Like I said, different markets (accounts) have different source and results. You are looking an account that I do for fun and less then a couple months old. I got a few accounts on You Tube for each nice, some that get a few visitors and accounts that get 1.7 million + visitors (all for commercial use to sell stuff except the IM Crunch is for fun).

There is no my formula, golden ticket, secret answer.

Start taking action and test and change course as needed. It will change for each person.

Interesting read, I definitely have never thought about doc sharing sites or q&a sites for marketing.

One question though -- if I was advertising, say, web hosting, what could I upload to a doc sharing website or article writing site? I can't think of anything that would be terribly relevant or interesting.

 

I can tell you the stuff I did that I shake my head at that works. I once put a techincal service on FlickR and get like 3,000 views a week. I dont get it, but hey it is exposure Well I do now, it is because like the Doc websites, FlickR ranks well in google.

I would suggest to make a step by step on the sign up process or how to register a domain, then anchor text it back to your website.
