Is paypal a scam?

I heard many horror stories of paypal like http://www.paypalsucks.com/ and it has happened to me again.I found out that money in paypal are good only for seeing the nos displayed there.
I just want to know why are not any affiliate networks accepting other form of payments apart from paypal?
The most frustrating thing is they are stealing many peoples money nd still everyone wants to use it,sad that noone is recognising this fact.Recently Indians were ripped of their money by paypal,but still many people uses it.Its sad and depressing to know that ebay accepts paypal payments only.What a sad capitalist world are we left with.The rich bastards who always makes sure that the general public will never get their shares worth.They dont mind care masses emotions

it depends on the situation how people got scammed and they write their horror stories . mostly it includes disputes between buyers and sellers where paypal mostly favours the buyer by refunding . This was one of such example , other examples might be account freeze blah blah ... There are two sides of a coin likewise paypal have some good and negative reviews over the web . its upto you how you use the service without abusing or getting abused . Hope i am clear.

Paypal a scam? Are you crazy? Who told you that ebay accepts only paypal? They accept credit and debit card too. And not a single indian lost his money. Thats all i have to say. I think you are frustrated right now so go take a nap and then speak.

 

PayPal is not a scam, its a widely used payment processor. Indians were not ripped off their money, it was due to RBI's plocy changes which lead to all this mess and now PayPal has even resolved this issue. If you are talking about getting scammed charge backs, then you should know that its not the PayPal who files a dispute rather its a buyer who does that. So watch out for the fraud buyers rather then looking for more payment options.

Here is the thing.I got my first payment from an affiliate network after struggling through for 6months.Not much just a small money.I decided to withdraw the money.Verified the account,no probs,but when it comes to withdrawing transaction is shown as complete,but my bank statements dont show anything

 

If you follow their tos then its good for you, otherwise you will blame paypal for being a scam. I think its most widely used gateway so Its having its own pros and cons

If you are 100% Correct from your site legally then you will be winner at the end. Yes PayPal is buyer favor like eBay booth are using same strategy but they also have some rule for seller like you when you are shipping any item that must be same address as address mention buyer with PayPal time of registration you need to kept proof of shipping item must not any dispute etc etc. time of services you need to save all the email or communication you had with the buyer time of fixed deal so my personal experience PayPal is Good some time they are stick my personal experience PayPal is Good
