I have 6 month old website and I would like to rank 1st page on google for ( business web hosting ) can some one tell me how long it takes .
I think just by seeing the keyword, the competition is surely high for this keyword. For you rank higher in search engines like G, it will take huge time. You need to put in efforts as much as you can. Build links and emphasis on your brand name.

Anyone can't say how much time it takes and "business web hosting" was very competitive keyword. Its really hard to get #1 position for this keyword. You have to work very hard on your website for this and patience is also required thing for this.
Try to have that keyword in the title and do some effective link building. Concentrate more on social bookmarking.
