A forum just for negative feedback/users that have scammed or not paid for a service

This is getting out of hand. Members scamming other members or agreeing to a service then avoiding payment once that service is complete. I know we can report through pm but this doesn't allow other members to be aware of things going on, thus making it easy for that member to keep scamming, etc.

A lot of forums have a specific forum just for warning users about members who scam or avoid sending payments and I think DP could benefit greatly from adding one. I tend to be a little too nice to people just because that's how I am so when providing a service I allow people to pay after that service is completed. This establishes trust between me and the member and most of the time it goes well. However, here lately it has been bad. Either they avoid you completely or give you the run around for a few days before avoiding you.

It doesn't just apply to services being performed but also to selling sites, domains, etc. People bidding on things and winning then disappearing after wining or simply sayng they're no longer interested. It's a huge headache for both the seller and those who were outbid.

It's becoming a big problem and a forum for this would give members a chance to know who can be trusted and who cannot. What do you guys think?

 

Is there a reason for rejection? Doesn't make sense. I know DP does not condone scamming but don't see much being done about it.

 

but when they pm me instead of posting in the thread. For instance. I offered a quick indexing service a few days ago. Submitted this guys site to thousands of stats sites for cheap, $5. Got it done sent him the list and was not paid. Sent another pm telling him he's on page 2 now for the keyword he is trying to rank well for, no reply. Sent another one asking if he was going to pay and he replied with "I will" and have not heard back yet. doubt I get paid. If I don't in the next couple days and report the member, what happens to him?

 

Should we ban the guy for not paying you $5?

What if the other members says that you didn't actually submit all those sites? Would we ban you too?

If we had a forum to warn about scammers, the other member would have the same right to accuse you of being a scammer, and since we wouldn't get involved in your business dispute one way or the other, you're stuck with an indexed thread with your name being associated with scamming.

 

I provide proof of all my work. In case of the $5 the member was sent a folder with links he can easily click on and know I did my part of the deal

I just made another thread offering aprofile backlinking service and it has been deleted. There was nothing wrong with my thread what so ever. Jesus this place is getting ridiculous. the true services get deleted while DP caters to spammers it seems

Your thread was deleted because you're offering to create fake accounts for the sole purpose of spamming forums with links. We wouldn't consider this a "true service"; we consider this as spam.

you serious? I got infractions for that? They're not fake accounts. The user gets a list and can then go back and post, etc, do what he wants with his accounts.

doesn't matter if they are fake or not, selling accounts or providing a service that involves account creation isn't allowed here.

I can understand that but why are all of the other spam threads still alive and not deleted? doesn't make since. Like the link I posted above. That's spamming youtube

 

This guy is giving a false service,after he did my site and sent me links he "backlinked" over half of them dont work,the others are all asian sites that are spam
