Hi, I can;t use my HDFC CC to send payment through Paypal. I get this error at Paypal - "Your card issuer declined the payment" The card is verified and everything Please Help
it is a mastercard and also tried with a visa does not work either. Wtf is happneing ? seriously can't run a proper business like this. so what you guys do to send payment in case you don;t have a paypal balance and you need CC. Is moneybookers a good option? Their process seems to be kinda complicates though.
Yes, I heard about hdfc netsafe card. You can create it online. Or else you may go with 2checkout.com
One of my friend tried to add his HDFC Bank Debit Card (for withdrawal), and paypal refused. He contacted paypal, but they advised him to talk to his card issuer (HDFC Bank). Only God knows what is happening.
When you try to make the payment, there is an option about currency conversion settings. Click on that and select the option charge in seller's original currency. Otherwise they will try to convert and charge in INR itself which is not allowed by RBI without VBV.
@pary07 when did you try to add your card? If you tried it today... try in another 2 days, becos paypal is making updates right now. Also, don't add a Debit card, it will never ever work.
just last week i signed up my hdfc credit card (mastercard) with pp. it worked for me. just make sure you signup for securecode, before you add to pp.
@oldlocks Can you please give him the info on how to signup for a secure code. Others too might benefit from it who are facing this problem
Go to hdfcbank.com > login > netsafe/ mastercard secure code > register > enter a password Please keep in mind that Your mobile number and e-mail id (as registered in Credit Card records) will be required for registering your Credit Card or for password re-set. If you have not updated your mobile no. and email-id in our records, you have to contact cc customer Service and update it. Without which you will not be able to register for secure code. Note: This procedure is also for REAL credit cards.
I think the user is trying to add a real plastic CC and not using Netsafe or HDFC VCC. I think he is adding the CC to withdraw amounts. We cannot withdraw from PP to a VCC.
heyy pary07, did you try to registering for vbv or msc and then link your card? i dunno what's going on? after such a long wait i applied for credit card from hdfc and now some guys claim it's not being accepted? paypal's making me go insane and i don't even have any other choice though, the thing i wanna purchase; that site only accepts paypal
