what if the Alexa Rankings is 800,087 but still it has no Page Rank? What to do?

Well triangle or 3 way linking can only be penalized if they are on the same IP , otherwise I dont think they can tell (I'm not sure it hurts you if they are on the same IP, it just wont help).

if your not doing it for SEO reasons, then you can keep any amount you want, but 20 is a good # (You'll get more visitors from seo than link exchanges)

 

Alexa ranking does not matter at all. Don't look at it, dont think about it, dont worry about it.

PR does nothing at all either. The number of quality backlinks you have to your site, that are relevant to the content are your site, is what actually matters.

 

I see. I didn't know that search engines could actually distinguish between link exchanges made for SEO and ones that weren't. Most of our forums do this, and mostly by people who have no idea what SEO even is

Really good plugin for onsite optimization. Its not that it does anything extrodinary, but it makes everything that you should do for SEO very easy. Title, Description, Meta Tags, URL Structure etc.

 

My site is indexed in Google . But when i see backlinks from any sites it shows 0 Backlinks from Google . Whats that about

 

Probably just a glitch or they havn't registered yet (if you have been link building). Give it a week and check your backlinks again.

 

What are the different on page optimization techniques?

Title, Meta Description and Keywords (not so important), Url Structure, and keyword density. Those should get you started.

Work on your keyword density and off page optimization ( building backlinks)

lol chill. I'm only checking this thread, so if you didnt post here , I never saw it.

If you have negative keywords in the suggestion box it means somebody is giving you a backlink with the negative keyword as the anchor text. Use a backlink checking software to find the sites giving you the bad backlinks and ask them to take it down. Also, whatever the negative keyword is, stop doing it and people wont link back with that anchor text lol.

Hey, how come even with a competition with pretty good prizes, no one participates in it?

 

If you want your paged indexed all you need to do is some off page optimization which means you dont have to change anything.

Start building backlinks, or make some posts on some High pr web 2.0 sites (digg, tumbler etc.)

 

Either your asking too much for the prizes, or the prizes suck lol.

Also, maybe your not reaching enough people with your campaign, or your not enticing them enough to actually participate.

 

So I put up a new site with only 3 pages and did only on site seo stuff to it but no other promotions. 5 days later, yahoo has already found it and has ranked me 6th for my targeted keyword and 1st for a few long tale keywords. How has this happened? Yes, the domain is keyword ritch but how so fast? before I could never get yahoo to rank me for anything and now they have found me before the site is even completely finished.

If i keep writing Posts about my keyword ( including my keyword in my posts like 3-4 times) . which has heavy searches and like 2,370,000 results in google . Can i get at first place ? or atleast in First page ?
