the page loads and unique seem ok but why such a minimal amount for returning visitors? Where did the 20,000 members come from? How many members are actually active on the site? Do you have any google analytics stats that give a better picture?

 

I never hooked up analytics and my awstats have not been working since the middle of September so all I have is stat counter. I'll post screen shots of keys words and phrases that I have

I don't think these are accurate. for some reason statcounter is not picking up user profiles pages example: zooped.com/zooped and zooped.com/467

 

Why the huge spike in traffic in December? Where did the 20k members come from? Are any active?

I've done a pay per referral campaign in the past picked up a few members that way, that's about it - I have not done any email blast.

the site has picked up members here and there over the last 4 years.
