Define semi-managed?

What do you plan to host on your VPS?

I'm planning to host a gallery site that contains about 1.5million images your inode limit should be twice as that

 

I suggest you to go for a dedicated server as a huge space VPS is not going to cost you little. Also for image hosting, dediated is the best option.

 

I'd recommend the same. You won't get anything reliable or stable with those specs and budget. Anyone promising you that is most likely overselling and in the end, you'll probably suffer with lag/low performance.

 

Good luck with finding anything that carries those specs within $40/mo. You'll definitely need to raise your budget.

 

Your requirement may be met in 2 years with this price. Today, it is hard to have it with standard quality.

 

I agree with everyone here....

I mean seriously , 1.5GB RAM / 200GB HD / 2TB bw / for 40$ .... if some one sells you that, come back to this thread in several weeks or a couple of months and tell us that he/she has closed down or ran away...

Thats how they all are...i mean if they oversell...
