I need a design for an A5 sized flyer. The graphic needs to be 1748 (width) x 2480 (height) pixels. This equates at 300dpi to 14.8cm wide by 21cm tall. I will need layered psd files. Fonts used must be provided or downloadable from a link you provide (with appropriate permissions) Some examples of A5 sized flyers that I like can be seen here: http://www.a5publications.com/imagelist/popup.php?file=A5-Publications-Leaflet.jpg http://www.flyer-designers.co.uk/portfolio21.html It is important NOT to directly copy either of these - I'm just giving them as examples of designs that I like. You should include this logo in your design: http://www.clickscene.com/images/clickscenelogo775x227.jpg Just for info, you can see an advert we placed: http://www.clickscene.com/images/seminar-advert.jpg Leave 35 pixels clear (white) on all four sides - so your design should actually use the middle 1678 x 2410 pixels. The wording that we want on the flyer, is --------------------------------------------------- FREE Seminar Using the Internet For Profit! Discover How to Increase Sales or Leads From Your Existing Website AND Get Ideas For New Websites that are Needed to meet growing online demand in 2010 and beyond! FREE registration required at www.clickscene.com --------------------------------------------------- We will need a box on the flyer that will contain the Venue details (clearly labelled 'Venue'). You can put this data in for now: --------------------------------------------------- Arrow Valley Countryside Centre Battens Drive Redditch B98 0LJ Thursday 25th February 2010 2.45pm for 3pm start The seminar runs for approximately one hour --------------------------------------------------- You can see a web page that we set up for this event at http://www.clickscene.com/content.php?contentpg=30 If you are working on a design for this contest, please post a simple one line message on the post so I know how many are working on it. Then update it with your entry, so if there is more than one that I like - I will choose the one that appears earlier in the thread. Please expect revisions before delivering the final versions. Payment will be made the same day.
Feedback Appreciated: No white outline but the margins are set so that only excess colours/image will be cut (no information)...
Feedback: @jmul7 - I like yours the most so far. I particularly like the fonts that you have used. I think the venue box should be bigger, as everything looks a little cramped up in there (even if the main text on the flyer has to get a bit smaller to accomodate). I don't really like the green or yellow text - it's maybe two colors too many - or just the wrong colors? Is it possible to have the 'FREE Seminar in a diagonal band across one of the top corners - as otherwise all text is on the horizontal plane? Also, the text at the bottom should be 'Free Registration Required at www.clickscene.com' and I think the text in the venue box should be centered. @bakerbaker - Yours is a good effort, but many of my comments to jmul7 above would apply too. The colors used in yours mean it is a little less 'vivid' than jmul7's - and we really want this to grab attention. @dcstudio - Your image via pm seems to have very 'normal' fonts used and for this reason doesn't really stand out. I do like the vertical text that you have used. Again, my comments above may help if you wanted to refine it. @Everyone - I haven't chosen a winner yet - and this competition still has many hours to go. There will be a winner on this today!
More feedback: @arunefx - I like the FREE SEMINAR flash, with the shadow effect. I like your venue boxes, but don't think the rest of the content on the flyer stands out enough. Also, the ClickScene logo seems to be 'stuck on'. @photoshoppie - unfortunately there isn't anything on yours that I do like other than maybe the background. @bakerbaker - like the contents of your venue box, but prefer the box to be titled as most others have done so. I like the FREE SEMINAR flash again - but don't like the whte font in the main content of the flyer. I know my printer would love me for using that version Some more coming in by pm - but we are definately getting closer...
