Some websites take their copyright very seriously and may contact you if you have taken their content via copy & paste. More importantly, it’s the right thing to do. Leaving the author's credit links is very essential if you're taking a whole or a piece of any article from another site. If you are a website owner too, and take this seriously then EmbedArticle.com respects your wishes. EmbedArticle is a unique technology that once installed in your website, monitors the copied content and produces a HTML code when text is copied so that you can receive the proper attribution for producing the content. That's cool. Thanks for the tip. I checked this out and found out that they also have a WordPress plug-in so it works for both websites and blogs. I would have liked to have seen some original copy for DP rather than linking to your site, Rep + anyway.
That is great , does it work like tynt, they also track copied content and place a HTML link back to ur website.
had anyone tried this cool tool? may you share your experience with this tool.. so others can decide to install it in their blog..
I joined immediately and installed the WP plug-in. It works just like the demo on their site, so it's cool. Try it out.
I installed TynT. But It's bit annoying for users that copy some content (for any reason) and tynt adds their unnecessary codes and link backs to the copied content. That's good for those who write quality reviews and detailed articles that do not contains any code or link to copy.
I've tried this ...and It's life saving! Content copiers have no chance to copy the text by other means as they're forced to copy with EmbedArticle's script.
Does it work on forums? Like if someone shares and discusses your content on forums without linking back?
I just tried it. You can still copy / paste content to notepad (or other) without having to copy the lightbox content. As I see it, the lightbox gives a reminder and an option to the would-be content stealer to do it right; but doesn't force it. Yes, this is nice - but I don't think it will stop hard core content thieves...
This is ridiculous, all this stops is the simple user who highlights-copy and pastes into their blog without even thinking. This will in no way stop merely a script kiddie who is determined to copy your content. Nice try though.
