Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

I had requested for a cheque withdrawal on 14 Feb '10. I have not received anything yet. I stay in B'lore. Any idea what might had happend?

 

Please bear in your mind, it will take more than 20-25 days for paypal check to reach you. I am also one of the guys waiting for paypal check, it was issued to me on 22nd Feb.

i also withdrawn on 15th and still no signs of it (may be because of holi). I expect the check after 20-25 days.

 

See, Export code is same as IEC. That is needed for any foreign money remittance against Exporting of goods or service. Its like PAN so that RBI can control all the remittance.
Further, current account and Pan card is mandatory for IEC. I am holding IEC from last three years in the name of My company.

 

Even if its same paypal has never said we should apply for one maybe they have thier own which will be provided

Just Received the cheque so happy after almost a month of frustration...

 

Did anyone receive a cheque in company name and had to stamp the backside of the cheque???

 

How come u received it today as its a holiday. Was it a ordinary post or courier service?

Can i apply for IEC code of my individual name? i have pan card and current account too.

OK, as i read on thepaypalblog.com they clearly said that you must need IEC code.
