What exactly is a landing page guys

Hello,

I hope you guys are doing good. I have a query about click bank affiliate marketing or rather landing page.

I still don't understand what is a landing page. In general I feel its a page where i speak about the product and then somewhere leave a link to my affiliate. Is that what u call a landing page. Also another thing that confuses me is when I check some website doing affiliate marketing I see in the end when they direct people to buy the product the page often goes to a form of clickbank wherein they are asked to pay. If I am helping my affiliate sell his product should'nt I pass on my visitors to his website. What is this payment thing all about then.. It really confuses me.

First of all, learn how to use Google.com There are tons of free resources. This is a general question that you can find easily on any blog. But, to help you out. Yes, a landing page is exactly what you described.
