What does it takes to get into Stanford ?

    Hi all,
    Stanford University is a pioneer institution in Computers and IT sector.I am amazed there is no discussion regarding it in Digital Point. Hence, i started this thread for the people who cherish the dream to become a part of Stanford.

    Well are u an aspirant yourself ? or an existing student or alumni of the institution ?

    can some one tell me how good is stanford for management related courses

    Dont limit yourself to just one university. Many state univeristies have just as good computer/it and management programs and if you are an in-state resident the price is substantially less. Living in the state prior to applying/attending the school for a year will allow for the in-state tuition (rules vary from state to state).

    Paying for the education is another story. Banks offer the federal grants/loans available but even those have caps on the amount they will lend.
