Do you guys think that it will be possible in the future for humans reproduce with the same sex? There are already animals that can successfully reproduce without a male sperm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cnemidophorus_tigris) Scientists also successfully combined two mouse eggs to produce a daughter mice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reproduction#Same-sex_reproduction) I just thought I'd share that with you since it's pretty interesting.
I think that we might, or people will naturally reproduce less and less because the world is overpopulated.
hahah Nate - great point of view ... Yes, i think HUMANS in the future would be able to play around with cells ... but not to the point of making new kids with just 2 female eggs. A sperm cell is required for the cell to develop into a human... Just my point of view, regards, Ryan
Sadly in about 60 years they'll all understand it but it will be too late. Especially in third world countries where already there are more people than there is food and they still refuse to use condoms. Luckily my country has vast amounts of unused space, but still - others are not so fortunate.
Yep, my city is highly populated will touch 5 Million this year. All the trees are gone and birds are hanging on Internet and TV cables
Nice to see those science grants going to practical use. Finding more and varied ways to increase population is a great idea. Maybe next they'll create a snow machine for deployment to the Arctic Circle.
- Same Sex Reproduction What is there for same sex??? - Laboratory production more like it unless you are male and want to get pregnant and no that is not in the cards. Live birth Robots off the shelf....posibilities but for having to feed it.
There is so many of us already.....if same sex reproduction becomes a possibility then god knows what will happen to the population
maybe it's possible. with scientific discoveries happening nowadays just like daily news, it's no wonder that can happen. but i guess it'll take time. yeah. there's just too much of us already.
