Need a creative way to promote a hosting company

I will be launching a new premium web hosting company within the next week. I am asking you guys ... the community ... to help me come up with some creative ways to promote a web hosting company.

Use forums for increase sells,

blog posting and commenting, bookmarking, twitter marketing, and all other site submission.

 

Try running certain promotions/codes just for a certain forum/website like DP. That'll definitely bring more customers from here and other sites you're on.

Make your hosting packages competitive and then promote them on various web marketing or webmaster forums. Overall now a days hosting business has become more saturated and a bit tough to get in to this area as more and more companies are trying to lower the price and add more features.

 

Create some amazing advertising banners and Posters and Spread it using facebook and Twitter. Ask probloggers to review your hosting services...Put some humor in it.

 

I think giving away free hosting with your sub domain is a good way. After wards give these free users option to move premium hosting.

You guys think that possibly youtube tutorials will be effective?

 

I don't think that people are looking for hosting at youtube. I think forums like this one is the best way.

 

I think it'll work if the tutorial are for beginners...If you post advance level tutorial for advance users, chances are rare the they'll switch to you.

 

The only thing which increase success, is to provide something different,unique.
You are in the world of competition.

 

Youtube viral video's good way to have a laugh and gain customers.

 

Create info products and sell your hosting as an upsell and on the backend.

Works great for me.

Anything related to web hosting:

blogging ebooks
make money online
web design
php, database
SEO
etc.

All related topics you can convert into hosting customers.

Yes ... i have started using twitter ... and i am sponsoring a "problogger's" site now. He said he will wait a month - two before review the service.

I tried this but all i got was bunch of losers trying to host proxies, torrent flux, and rapid leech. I had to terminate 70 percent of the account and it caused server down times. BAD IDEA PEOPLE

 

try advertise on any advertising company or buy SEO service..
It give you visitor and hopefully can give you buyer..

 

Adwords is really expensive to advertise with. Is there any one else ...

Adwords and yahoo publisher average click cost is like $2.

I have calculated that to get one client it takes about $100.
