Anyone know how long it will be before they Get 4.0 all patched up and fixed? I really want to stay with Vbulletin....how much longer do you think it will be before 4.0 is patched ,fixed and Operations is going smoothly over there. Any Opinions on this ? -C
I would have to say after the Complete rewrite around version 4.1 - 4.2 where all the PHP classes are brought up the date and the MVC framework is finished and put into production leaving all the older classes out.
It's getting pretty close in my opinion. There are still some straggling issues (some template issues on things that aren't used all that much, but those are slowly all getting reworked). 4.0.2 seems pretty solid and judging from the list of changes to 4.0.3, I'd say 4.0.3 is probably what 4.0.0 should have been. Either way, I think 4.0.2 is stable enough to run live (I didn't think so with 4.0.1). I'm just speaking about the forum... I wouldn't run the CMS in it's current state.
I am hearing News that Theme Designers are awaiting VB 4.02 getting more stable b4 they update their themes and that it is supposed to be very close... Though Shawn just said about VB 4.03 so there may well be some conflicts. I see many prefer VB 3.82 to further versions to so again conflicts in thinking.

Been working on it for months. Yes, this is 4.0.2. No, you can go advanced by either clicking on the "Go Advanced" button under the quick reply box or you can just double-click the "reply" or "reply with quote" links in a post.
Shawn... i was getting errors in the location field? Maybe it was my browser... anyhow its all fixed now.... Was it broke?
