    I don't think you can add description and meta tags in google sites.

    I may not understand exactly what you mean... but...

    You add meta tags to your own website(s) headers...

    <meta name="description" content="description of your website here">
    <meta name="keywords" content="all, your, keywords, here, separated, by, commas">

    If your talking about blogger Google's free blog hosting site then I don't believe this is possible. If the site is hosted then you can simply ftp into the site and add the necessary meta changes but if you don't physically host the site I don't believe this is possible. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
