I don't trust those stats programs (and the graph here on DP tells a different story).

Could you install GetClicky for a day or two so I can see some real stats?

Also, am I right in thinking that the income is on a constant decline? What is the reason for this?

 

Hi, hadn't heard of getclicky but i will install it.

There are a few factors in the decline - I had a bit of downtime in the last couple of months due to the main hard drive crashing and it took me sometime to recover the data (I had originally been waiting for the guys at the noc to do it but whatever they were doing kept causing the server to crash and eventually i figured out how to recover and restore the files myself). I also have not been advertising as much and updating less frequent (to be honest after a couple years i am kinda getting bored of doing it lol) so that is a factor as well as members buying longer memberships as opposed to monthly.

Also, if people are paying for longer, isn't that more expensive so the income would have been higher?

as for age - the forum itself (in its current form) has been around since Dec. 2007 (was restarted - also was around a couple years before that). As I stated on the link the original domain was owned by my partner and when he took off he took that with him though I had been using the current domain a few months before that when he vanished (just in case) and the current domain will be a year old in 60 days. The gallery sites are approx 1 year old now as well.

As for time to manage that really depends how much time you want to spend on it, personally I put in hours a day adding fresh content to the forum and blog.
