I woke up this morning to find this lovely message in my inbox: I am really confused by all this because I don't display ads on any adult content sites, in fact, I don't even own any. Is it possible someone used my pub-id on an adult site to get me banned? I found this article (http://www.seorefugee.com/seoblog/2006/09/19/get-any-adsense-account-banned/) where someone describes exactly how to do it. Has this happened to anyone else and were they successful in getting their accounts reinstated? I've been searching for a phone number to contact AdSense but can't find one so I just responded to the email. This is unbelievable to me as I've been an AdSense publisher in good standing for years now and have made well over $25,000 over that time and they simply ban me using some automated system with no contact with me first? If anyone can offer me any advice please do.
If you are banned from Google Adsense, there is unlikely that your account will be opened again. The service is bad, so if you send an e-mail to them you will most likely receive an automatic answer. You can try to send them an e-mail, but do not expect an answer. I hope this answer was to help for you!
Were you using the "Allowed Sites" list? If you are, then that can't be the reason. However, you are responsible for making sure any site displaying your ads conforms to the Adsense program policies, so if you didn't use "Allowed Sites", it was at your own risk. Also be aware that the Adsense definition of "adult content" is pretty broad - it's not just porn, but any content of a sexual nature at all. I don't know if that applies to your sites or not, but it's something to consider. Adsense doesn't have phone support and is unlikely to respond to your email other than just sending you the same original message. You can post on the Adsense help forum. It's mostly a peer-to-peer help forum, but there are employees who pop up occasionally. Unfortunately, yes, that's the way the system works. When you signed up you agreed that Google could cancel your account for any reason at any time. And, yes, that can totally suck.
what the h3ll do you mean i hope this answer helps you? you didnt say anything of value whatsoever. hes been in adsense for a while as he said and obviously knows the rules and how things work. his real question is concerning someone getting him banned on purpose using his pub id.
Maybe it´s an idea to search for your puplisher IDo if someone uses your IDyou might find the website this way. If you do so, there may be a way to contact adsense (forum, maybe the Adwords support) and prove that it´ wasn´t your site! This will for sure result in banning this bad guy from adsense too! (Maybe it brings back your account too, but I don´t really think so - maybe a new account) Hope this helps you a bit.
You never want to rely only on Adsense so don't put your eggs all in adsense spread out a little bit that way if you do get your adsense account banned it won't be your only resource of income.
Forget about the Disabled account, you are not going to get it back. Move on, try to get a new account.
That is way there is "allowed sites" option on your adsense account, we should all use it to avoid sad stories like this.
this is exactly what i would say. you can apply again with another name and email but for the same website, this is not a problem. you can use any name from your family. but try to use different bank account.
Have you uploaded any questionable youtube to your website? Maybe that one particular youtube sinks your adsense account. You can appeal if you want, but the success rate of getting reinstate is very low.
IT is really worst to see that Google is disabling accounts every now and then without any valid reason and without giving out any warning. I think you need to contact their customer care...
There are 1001 methods to ban an adsense account. This one is one of them. I'm afraid you lost it forever. No need to email google, you're done...
What about an Adsense revenue sharing site or something like that? If somebody is going to sabotage your Adsense pub id, they will probably do it through some setup like Blogger.com I would think. Adult content is a broad term. I would say that you transfer at least one of your domains on somebody else's name and then apply for an Adsense account with their details.
That's the reason why I am not sticking to adsense... You can have your acocunt banned without reason....anyway, I am making more money even without adsense...
This is a pretty useless reply... If you email the adsense help team with a mature content and description of what's happened instead of something like "yo google someones hacked my account" then you will receive a reply from their team, In my experience they are very helpful and unbanned my account many years ago when a similar issue occurred. Good Luck!
