What is this VBV issue?

This is a 3-D secure technology.. You have to register your VISA Debit card for VbV before you can use it for online transactions.. (Google for more info)
RBI has made VbV mandatory for all Indian Debit Cards w.e.f. 16th Dec 2009

So, basically, VbV is active on your Card (as it IS an Indian Debit Card). But, Paypal does not support VbV..
And hence, your card is rejected by Paypal.

 

But I just added my ShopSmart Standard Chartered Debit Visa Card to my Paypal account.

Standard Chartered Debit cards work with pp...good for you..

 

Im not from india but if rbi is not allowing paypal and if you will receive the check and change it into your currency through RBI then they will not exchange it since its from paypal.

 

Can you withdraw funds to SBI Gold Debit card ?

But that guy is able to withdraw funds to his SBI Yuva Card, mine is SBI Gold and it is verified with Paypal. Any suggestions ?

Yes, it is added in Paypal and it is VISA. But what happens to my money if there is any problem with transactions ?Will the money reversed back to paypal ? Are you positive this will work ? I appreciate your help

 

LOL Paypal is not a damn bank .. its just a company providing only online payment processing

And Moreover Paypal send checks issued my Citi Bank who on earth will ever know who provided u the check

So they are just concentrating on getting our back to our paypal account. So tha bank transfer issue doesnt seem to be solved soon. So, guys as soon as u get ur withdrawn money back to ur paypal a/c kush withdrw using check .... within 25-30 days u'll get ur money into ur a/c... jus like google adsense standard payment (before they started sending via bluedart).........
If anyone get withdrawal into bank a/c plz let us know...... that will be a breaking news for all of us.

I was wondering the same!
I hope all individuals offering their services in individual capacity are not supposed to get registered with RBI to get export/import licence and a code, just like companies are required to do!

I have withdrawn money via check. After 7 days I mailed them for my $5 fee refund and they refunded it within 2-3 hours. Just now after 12 days of withdrawal they have sent me another $5

 

They sent you 5$ twice?
How is that possible?
