There are so many registrars who register domain name for very cheap initially but they charge more when we renew our domain!!!
What do you think about it?

Isn't it frustrating  that you think you will be charged x$ but you get a bill for 10x$ ?

The way to deal with it is transfer to other registrar before your domain expired.

That's the scam pretty much. They try and get you with an initial low price and hope you won't transfer out. The more savvy ones will..

well... you can't transfer them easily, because usually they ask for Transfer Out Fees as well. But most importantly you have to check the recurring amount while placing order, because every come company get you with low price, infact with very cheap price, but then they charge you little more on renewal. Make sure while placing order , that order price ande recurring price dont have much difference.

It's not a scam, it's a marketing technique. By implementing a loss leader strategy to acquire the customer, they hope that people won't transfer out & that's when they get hit with a big renewals the 2nd year.

There's no better way to go than buying cheap and transfer away near renewal takes place.
