On the BBC website there's a part called 'GCSE' and in it there's a religion section. On the second page of the Islam section, here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/rs/prejudice/islamrev2.shtml it says this: "The Qur’an (the Divine Book revealed to the Prophet Muhammad) teaches that everyone was created by Allah (God) and that everyone is equal:" I'm pretty sure that the jury is still out on whether the Quran is a divine book or not. On the third page, here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/rs/prejudice/islamrev3.shtml It has this quote from 'surah 4:45', "Men are appointed guardians over women, because of that in respect of which Allah has made some of them excel others, and because men spend of their wealth. " The surah is actually 4:34 and I believe it left out quite an important part of that verse. I looked at a website that has numerous credible translations of the Quran into English and other translations. http://al-quran.info/ Here is the full verse: " (34) Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great." Quite an important part was left out of the quotation on the BBC website: "admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them" BBC what's going on?
It's because of the large, large number of Muslims infiltrating Britain now. England is ultimately overrun by Muslims and even allows them Sharia law now. It's sad, but in 50 years England will be a Muslim country To the rest of us this kind of thing is totally unacceptable, I do agree - but ultimately it's about numbers, and because Muslims breed a LOT, out-breeding other religious groups, they do have the numbers.
I think the notion here is about where or not those responsible for content at the BBC should have allowed it on; not about censorship as it's their website. I mean, it's like asking if content about child abuse (in the sense of charities against it) should be featured on a pornography website - the answer is no - not due to censorship but due to maintaining a standard.

The most disgusting thing is that if you click to page 4 of that - you'll see a section matching up two parts of sentences - including one starting with "in Islam" and ending with "men and women are equal", along with "In Islam sometimes men" and ending with "have the last say." I just thank God that Australia, and France for that matter, are extremely intolerable of anyone attempting to infiltrate our lands - we're appose (vehemently) to Sharia law - unlike England. Ultimately the word is too PC, we can't say shit about shit - if we do we're "racist". Except that people forget that being anti-Islamic is not in fact racist, only logical - they will never agree with our beliefs, we wont agree with theirs - it is only best for both that they stay in one Islamic country and whip and stone each other out of civilized, safe societies. PS - If this offends you, try to see it from both sides. Do you as Muslim want thousands of non Muslims infiltrating your lands, out breeding you and trying to make your government allow divorce, homosexuality, alcohol and ZOMG women in swim wear? Britain is doomed and much of Europe if they allow this religion to keep advancing to their needs, it's in the plan of dominance, I really believe the politician are bribed and the British citizen will pay for the wrongs that their politician made in the future.
