I just looked at my settings and noticed many infractions all from the same time.

One infraction being affiliate/ masked links? When and where? (maybe talk via pm? but no linkings) Some one has it out for me :D.

bumping thread? when and where? ( My recent posting? You mean the replies? ) hmm, I am stumped.

Duplicate thread? Sure I started two for a partner. First one I closed because I had found an investor and the second was because the investor fell through. So since I closed my first thread I figured it would be best to start fresh.

But many duplicate threads? Some one searching my year old posts?

The best way NOT to get another infraction is to PM one of the mods about this issue. Posting here in public will just risk your account from being given another infraction points.

Isn't this the help section? A post like yours is what gives the mods ideas to give me another :s.

So I am suppose to let it go 8 infractions in 10 minutes? A few of them I know of aren't true. It is like some one targeted my account and went through everything. CAVITY SEARCH

But duplicate threads? I mean come on look through my threads. Most of them are over a year old. I have not posted much at all I was way from dp for a very long time. If any threads beside my partnership thread are being marked as duplicate have to be over a year old.

Edit: I have been away for a very long time I am not sure If I still have option on. I don't use that email at all and it has been attached to this account for 3 year.

Edit: Just checked no emails from the admins just emails about having new messages.

BTW - you get an email notifying you exactly what each infraction is for. I assume you have turned off the option to get emails from the admins.

The mod in question is very thorough and usually sends decent explanations... however you have turned off the "email from admin" in the options so YOU get no explanation etc.

I will, however, go take a look.

EDIT: they all look fine to me.

How do you get that?? Duplicate how? The mod is wrong. There are only two instances that I know your mod could have thought it was duplicate. One I was selling a product similar to some one elses. Two your mod gave me an infraction for selling a domain that I tried selling what 1year - 2 years ago?

The only duplicate I should have is for investors. Looking through my threads viewable by everyone is 100% proof :D.

What Im not allowed to sell similar products, am I not allowed to resell a domain a year+ later? Please I need to know so I do not make this mistake again.

In my first post I owned up to some of the infractions but the extra duplicate infractions I will not. There are many people selling similar items and I don't see a problem with trying to resell a domain that I tried selling a year+ ago.

You should get another one for double posting, use the edit button.

If you close a thread and want it reopened ask a Mod, don’t post the same thread again in order to have higher placement.

    Thanks Brian

Brian, we are talking about threads that are older then the new higher placement features. The only new duplicate thread would be investors which I got an infraction for that. Now there is about 5 other duplicate thread infractions have I even posted 5 new threads in the past year lol!

That being said why have a mod open a year - two year old thread that has a lot of old posts in it?

Also, if people other then mods would quit posting then my thread actually might get some where. This thread is between mods and me only. You can not help my situation at all. Up that post count Brian.

Because it’s the forum rules, you can then link to the thread in your signature to let people find it. (You can see an example in my sig) You should also avoid making two posts in the same thread without a reply. (You have 8 hours to edit a post)

    Thanks Brian

Lets go through the dupe infractions shall we?

    1. Black Hat Technique -... these 3 relate to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1316393 - and looks like the mod held back. Alot of bumps, review requests etc in there that didn't get infractions.
    2. Black Hat Technique -...
    3. Black Hat Technique -...
    4. Looking for mobile... post has been deleted. Posted in October and duplicated a post from September. Age means nothing - it's still a dupe.
    5. Need investor to... this post is still live and the two threads have been merged together.

And I was right! Very old threads!!!! :D I told you some one was targeted me and went through my pages of threads. If you didn't find them a year ago then I should receive the infractions for them now.

The mobile threads didn't get replies. I was serious about that what is one suppose to do never ask again? Anyways everything you presented to me is old :D

Some posts go unnoticed until someone makes a report or a Mod spots an infringement/s; he or she may then look at your past posting behaviour as it maybe that you made a one off mistake, in that case a Mod may just delete or move your post without taking any action.

If you are a persistent offender then more action is taken. Try and stay within the rules and you won’t have any problems, infractions are only warnings, most of us have had them at sometime or other.

    Thanks Brian

Edit: BTW: whoever left me this Rep “Brian you are a dipshit not a supermod. Your mom is calling you she wants you to clean your basement room.” Did you forget to leave your name?

Couldn't agree more, you should receive them now.

We don't read every post on every thread so sometimes when we do an account review we do clear up some problems that are aged. Personally, from reviewing it, I think the mod was generous to stop at 8 points.

Oh, and you know all those blackhat threads... just shows you don't have respect for rules etc. Why should our rules be any different?

I'll catch up with this in the morning. I have a bike to prep for my Saturday morning ride and it's getting late down here.

There are no statue of limitations on DP. If you do something wrong, you WILL be punished to the fullest extend of the rules no matter how much time as evaded.
