I can't figure yahoo out. I struggle to rank for certain keywords on Yahoo and then randomly on other ones I'll be on the first page. I don't do anything different because naturally my goal is to be on Google's first page but for some reason Yahoo has a love/hate relationship with me. Just checked one of my pages today and it's not in the first 10 pages of Google but it's on the first page of Yahoo with only 2 backlinks showing. Yahoo is so bizarre to me. Has anyone figured them out? Google seems to be much more predictable.
I've had very good success with building tons of links which helps almost all my clients rank on the first page (usually top five) on yahoo. You can put junk links in and they still will help - at least from what I experimented with.
Search algo for both the search engines are completely different. Yahoo search engines mainly works on keywords but Google consider many factors..
i have good SERP in google yahoo and bing also good ranking in yahoo each and every small keywords only i want result in google but to time period my ranking is good bcz i stated my site optimization before 1month and i get 1200000 SERP in google on my first signature site
I think thread owner was looking for you to tell him how Yahoo search engines work. And you took it as he was trying to know your achievements in Yahoo?? Anyhow, please let us know how you are tackling Yahoo and getting ranked for so many keywords??
