Niche?

I keep reading all over the forum stuff about niche sites, niche this, niche that. Could someone explain to me what it is and how it works please?

Google is blocked at my school which is where I am currently at, and I was just hoping to find the answer out real quick.

Haha. I thought Niche was just a word used for google adsense. I never though it was something in the dictionary.

if u r in skl, use proxy site like www.anonymizer.ru (mostly it wont be blocked)
