That's a great list. And to the guy that said how long? That doesn't really matter because you're going to keep your blog up for a long period of time and continue writing content. Anytime you notice that traffic isn't where you want it to be, you can do one of these things. Though honestly, most of them are very quick.

It really is quality and not quantity that counts with blog posts.

OP fails really hard because of a simple thing. First and foremost advice you should have mentioned, before everything else, is to make sure your blog works perfectly in IE. All the rest of the advice is absolutely worthless if your site doesn't load up correctly in IE as that's a surefire way to losing 70% of total traffic, or 90% of quality traffic.

OP - before you do anything else, fix your own blog. It doesn't work at all in IE. Without it, you're just a joker playing with fart bubbles. You're welcome.

 

Traveling, I agree he lost some of his credibility there, but you should also fix your own site. The search box is not aligned correctly.

 

the title of this thread should be renamed to: 80 regurgitated, vague tips that mostly don't work and or involve too much work for negligible payoff.

I think 24 hours is not enough to do all that for a single blog post! Most of us are better in certain areas, so we focus on those areas. Some bloggers can get away with article submission or blog commenting.
