xoom.com is no more working i called their custumer care 4 hours before they told me we are not accepting paypal and many users payment got reversed.........
Xoom has supended Intra India payments since 20th February. It does not make sense to shout individually. we all need to channel our energy and fight for this. What has RBI done to all those who have accounts in Swiss, Can they tell us ow our money is being spent. Then i don't see a reason why they should block our payments beings transferred to our accounts.
Still there is some confusion at your end. Xoom stopped indian paypal to india transfer only so if someone from outside india send you money from his/her outside india paypal account then they allow it. DON.
I second that... I spoke to the XOOM team 3 times and they said the same. If the transaction is initiated from a foreign Payapl account, it will get completed to any Indian bank account. I do not have a foreign Paypal account. So I have not done this and if somebody who has done this successfully can give a testimonial. Basically freelancers from India are being crippled and strangled by all these.
Only best way is to request the Cheque- but your Bank account name should match your Paypal account name.
I am still confused with 1 thing.if withdrwal to creditcard is done wont the money reach the bank account?I am completely confused about this situation.can some one tell me easily please? some people say the money will be in creditcard only and cant be used.why cant we use it?if money is in creditcard and dint reach the bank account we can go to a ATM to withdraw the balance money from creditcard.i think i am talking correctly.if i am wrong some one explain me this.thank you.
Oh thanks for clearing it up. I think I may find a solution for getting my funds transferred from my client who have a US Paypal account.
Actually my paypal account is with my name and I withdraw funds to my company account so need to use xoom for all withdrawals
xoom i dont think will allow intra india transfers neways forget xoom for now lets wait for pp to fix its issue
ohh that may cause a problem Will there be any other way to withdraw funds from Paypal? and one more thing. Can I open another Paypal account with my company info keeping both my accounts as business accounts?
