How do i keep my community ON my blog?

    Hello everyone.

    I want to start working on strengthening my community and growing my traffic through referrals, but i'm having a tough time.

    Besides a commenting system, is there any way to keep my community more involved with my blog? It seems like they hop on, read an article, and then jump off to facebook/twitter/instant messenger.

    If possible I would like to keep them on the blog discussing the topics i have raised in my articles. Are there any solutions or methods I might be able to use?

    You might think about adding a forum, if you have enough traffic to support it.
