u need to signup in google analytics and put that code in your website. u can track visitors in google analytics

I've found google analytics to be the best tracking solution for my websites. It's unreal the amount of infromation you can obtain by using it! Two thumbs WAY UP

I think its crazy how you can see which people from which country, and then find out what town they are viewing your site from. Unreal.

And it's free, you think you would have to pay a large sum of money for a tool like this

Sometimes google analytics is not showing real statics. No third party statics are accurate. cpanel statics are the most accurate.

 

Usually I found difference in cpanel to analytics stats. But if we go too much to it we still be ending in big confusion. All my wordpress blogs have a plugin called statpress, so 3 data from these sources will have difference. But fairly I believe google is more of accurate.

 

Google Analytics is a tool for using tracking website visitor ... using Google Analytics is simple .. just register Google Analytics then put the code to your site

 

Best thing about analytics is, it gives detailed information like none, i saw till now...
Including the where traffic came from..

It is track traffic for every individual traffic.

 

would like to use google analytics but our website is hosted in Germany and google analytics is against the law over there, they have some strict privacy laws apparently

I think The best you can do is to go through the official help forum/Blog of Google analytics, You'll get all information regarding analytics there, And the more you will use analytics the more you will come to know about the features of it practically.
