Although i dont advertise at facebook...but hey this is Goods for most of us here... Thanks for this update news.
I just tried to create an ad and there is no option for paying via Paypal. Check this: https://secure.facebook.com/help/?page=409#!/help.php?page=869
Great News, How did you know they are accepting paypal? Can you share more information here, also one thing is facebook accepts users from us only, so if we pay money from non us paypal account? Do we have chance to run ads?
I think that is only a good marketing choice. I know that paypal takes there percent, but so do credit card processors. This will also open up new lines of business to millions of buyers immediately, I think that Facebook has got it right, they deserve a pat on the back.
QUOTE FB: "Currently, credit cards and co-branded debit cards (Visa or Mastercard and American Express, Discover or JCB for certain currencies) are the only accepted method of payment for ads. We do not currently offer an invoicing as a payment options for ads." I thought I saw the Paypal option late 2 nights ago, but now I don't see it.
Wow.. ive been waiting so long for this! I never give out my CC info and that stopped me from advertising there.
Can anybody else confirm this? Was looking forward to getting some ads up. EDIT: You buy credits via PayPal, then I guess you exchange the credits for advertising? Meh I dunno... http://www.paymentsnews.com/2010/02/facebook-to-accept-paypal-for-ads-and-facebook-credits.html They're in the process at least...
