Hello, I am presently working on a big e-commerce project, where we will be having physical store in 3 country and catalog of more then 5000+ items that will be shipped worldwide. Plus we will be even offering 25% Cash-back! and 10% discount at introduction of the electronic store (website/cart). At this moment, we have in mind to advertise the site using Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher and other PPC Networks + Hiring Bloggers and Forum Posters + Press Releases on newspapers also television and radio media marketing. Do you have any more good idea to promote such kind of business ? Please share! If you came up with "SOMETHING REAL GOOD!!!" then we will be honoring with possible rewards. Thanks!
Well I think the best way is to use related forums and logs and do social marketing. This model has proved to be quite effective these days.
you have your base covered.. email marketing is not part your overall strategy?? get opt-in emails.. sending newsletter is just as important
Best is to first find out what your market is and how many competitors you have. Research is your first part. As much research you can do its great for you. Then find out the products you will be selling. Find out what prices it is offered in other stores and if possible then find out how much deduction you can do in it or how best you can sell it. Selling do not requires you sell customers by phrasing "Buy, Buy....". Sale is an art. Getting back to the topic...You need firstly highly optimized website, and then some leads. Send simple text emails and watch the magic. Then you can proceed with forums, blogs or advertising in Yahoo, Google etc.. The initial phase like email marketing will also get you to know about the people response. If you start getting some conversions then its great and if not then you should bang you head and should try to find out what is still wrong in your website which is not getting you to get sales...
Article marketing is a great way to promote an e-commerce site. You should on taking your good articles to the top of the search engines.
