Withdrawal to India banks from Paypal through XOOM is Working. Confirmed and Tested.

Xoom has now stopped Intra India transfers..

 

I am thinking of a way out to transfer my funds to my bank account from paypal
First, Can i transfer my paypal funds to my friend's paypal account in US?
then, he can use xoom to deposit the funds to my bank account

Is this possible?

How is that of any relevance to the current situation I fail to understand. Having draconian laws and regulations ensures that you do not get into trouble but then isn't growth and business a direct result of taking risks and making an effort? You just read this on some blog and pasted it here. Do you realize that because of the shuffling old hags in RBI and the one-foot-in-their-graves-the-other-on-a-banana-peel politicians who do not understand IT freelancing and online fund transfers today a whole industry is on the verge of extinction. Someone at RBI just woke up to terrorist funding!!!! seriously you think terrorists are so lame/technically advanced as to withdraw money to a bank account then withdraw cash then go pay the suicide bomber...... and what sort of an idiot does not pay taxes once the money has hit the bank..... the public asked these farting politicos to bring back the black money from foreign banks(swiss, cayman, kitts etc.) and these arseholes start screwing the common man trying to eek out a living....

It suits the politicians to have every Indian go to an office, it suits the large corporates to ensure that entrepreneurs are discouraged, it suits the "haves" in India to keep the "have nots" just that way..... they work longer hours coz job is all they can do, don't have time to think so don't raise voices against the government when an issue comes up.... don't start blogs and online forums as how would they make money off the site? and even if they do how will they xfer it?...... so there goes the voice of the common man that gets killers of Jessica Lall apprehended and so many other issues addressed..... all a win win for the politicians and the big corporates and a big loss for the country.... people who were generating employment now start looking for a lame job and then someone reads about how the US economy had a problem because they were willing to take risks to allow it's citizens to attempt to grow...... thinks "we Indians" are so darned frigging cool and goes and pastes his borrowed research to the open wounds of so many bleeding freelancers....

i dont think its 20-25 days its 7-10 days

 

Normally it will take upto 20 days to clear the cheque.

 

it takes 1-3 days to clear the cheque but to get the cheque it takes more than 5-20 days

 

I guess you didn't use that option yet. We used it in past and we know it takes more then 15 days to reach our home.
