    Dear Uncle,

Thanks a lot for the detailed analyis. Let me just clarify my position. I have accounts with HDFC (the branch has a swift code) and SBI (my branch of SBI does not have swift code but another SBI branch of my city has it).

I would have preferred to withdraw it to SBI. Do you think, even if my branch does not have swift code, I can do it (with the nearest branch option)?

One of my clients had asked for IBAN no? Is that essential? I have read somewhere that IBAN cannot be disclosed by the bank to the individual customers.

    Your guidance highly appreciated.

Which country your client is from ? There is a chance that SBI have overseas branch there. And making it through SBI itself will make it easy - comparatively.

IBAN - No, not like that. I am sure SBI gives the info for individual customers as well. I mean their IBAN number.

    Edited and added ..

For sure, coz this is from my personal experience. My SBI branch does not have swift code, I confirmed the 'nearest branch with swift code' option with an employee in the bank and it worked fine. I think the whole process took 1 day or 2 max.

Thanks again, Uncle! My client is from US and I would also like to wire transfer through Alert Pay.

I will contact my SBI within this week and post the update.

    Thanks again.

Corp Bank Debit card do not have CVV number so cannot be added.
I tried adding HDFC Bank Debit Card, it was not allowed (although it had CVV number).

Have anyone tried to withdraw fund to netsafe (HDFC bank VCC) card successfully? It is temporary card and valid only 24 hrs, so I have some doubt about this. But anyone have used it?

    Thanks

    The card is Visa
    What about the card expiry?
    It expires in 24-48 hours

In fact, I have tried to withdraw $15 to HDFC VCC yesterday
    the card has already expired

Now,how will $15 reach the card

I have not tried it but guess, something like below:
say, you have bought something with VCC, later seller refunded but card expired. Then what will happen, would not get money back?

I think same thing will happen here too. Best of luck!

    keep us update. Thanks!

well card expires in 24 hours if you do not use it and your amount reflects back into your bank account as a charge back to that vcc . For chargeback its available anytime whereas to use it, you get 24 hours . So i guess it might have a possibilty.
