Just curious but are we allowed to use clipart for something like this? And would you like it to be stylized/realistic or more corporate (2-3 solid colors)? Thanks,

 

If I'm not mistaken, all clipart sites have a policy against ANY stock / clipart being used in a logo / brand / trademark to represent a company. They mainly prohibit it to help prevent lawsuits. As we all know, once just 2 people use the same exact image, it's no longer unique, & clipart / stock is literally downloaded by millions daily.

Here's a couple links to stock site user License agreement policy's, notice how they ALL say NOT to be used in a logo / brand / Trademark for Both standard & Extended licenses.

The above are just a few popular examples, All clipart / stock sites have policies. You may have to read through a bit to get to the NO Logo / Brand / Trademark area's in each, but they ARE there.

I've never used clipart but I know that's not the case for the majority of people who enter competitions on here and so I just like to ask the questions so that everyone's clear from the get-go.

you are on the right track. Can you make colors more vibrant, brighter/crisp and shiny in the second and third designs? This may be going on a website that has black background. Nice work by the way.

I like this one but it looks extremely familiar though. Not sure what it reminds me of but I like it

 

Here are a few from me. I know that the spotlight was to be included but I thought that by simply putting one underneath the word itself worked pretty effectively without being intrusive. All are 100% vector and transparent background. If you'd like to see any other variations please let me know.
