What sucks is someone who thinks they shouldnt be there can get your account banned FOREVER. Its always good to be on the safe side since not having an Adsense account really sucks. I havent had mine for over a year.
Look at the linked site though? he has 3 ads on top of each other making up 80% of the viewable page. MFA? close enough.
i thjink they are talking about perfectly placed images, like when u have 4 ad text blocks and there are 4 perfect squared images beside
i think the best thing to do , is just email google and let them check your site . and when you receive the email . 1- if they tell you no , just change your site . 2- if they tell you yes it comply , keep this email with you , (take a screen shot of the site when you send an email so you can allways show them what you had in case .... )
I think those who put images next to Google ads are more like cheaters. Either they do not have good content (mfa) or they just can't do blending. Tricking users to click on the ads is just wrong. Peace,
WHO KNOWS ?? I think that it looks great, nice pic. Heck..it says ADS BY GOOOOGLE... they allow you to blend them, are they going to say what images you can and can't use on your site now? If that was your background image... what are they going to do? ban you? You would get warned first i would imagine. With that last site it had 3 blocks on top of each other, if that's not screaming MFA then I don't know what is. They should have just kicked that site out of the program. period. James.
Always send an email to google to verify that it is ok. If you get the go-ahead then save the email for future reference.
for a publisher, images near ads are great, but for an advertisers it can be wrong, because the images fools the visitor to click the ads without any concern about the title
Mido ~ don't you think title of this thread is little misleading there is nothing new on sitepoint's thread because its very old clause in tos of adsense to don't do anything which causes undue attention towards ads .
