I dont have credit card... So when I click the option withdraw through card, can I give the details of my HDFC debit card for withdraw funds from my PayPal account? But this card is not works when I try to verify my PayPal account, is it work when I withdraw? Can anyone please answer?
First try to add your debit card to your paypal a/c and if it gets added then go to add/edit credit card in the profile tab there you will see your debit card info and on the right if its written that you can withdraw funds then surely you can do.
Man, I had a terrible time, and finally used xoom to get half of my money. For the rest, I sent everything back to my client (who is a nice person, agreed to send it through wire transfer) and waiting for it to come. Nothing wrong in experimenting, it is not fun at all. But if it works, we can confirm a working alternative.
HDFC debit card didn't work for me. I tried many times including today afternoon just before I tried the Corp Bank Debit Card. And from others experience, I think it will not work. However HDFC netsafe card (VCC) works well for verification of PP.
I have yuva card on my acc and i could see that "Accepts paypal withdrawals" I tried it and will update you
only iob and corp bank debitt cards work with pp other indian issued debit cards are never work with paypal coz the iob and corp bank s only allow direct online usage fecility on debit card (works like a creditcard) other bank debit cards need vbv for online usage please friends dont try to verify your pp a/c using this debit cards its not work for verify but you can withdraw funds bindass..... you can also use directly online shopping on this cards wthout vbv and with vbv also work on it
let me get you clear here that not only iob and corp bank debit cards works but canara bank debit cards also works. And how can you say that only these banks cards work? Have you tried each and every bank debit cards in india?
yes friend i was tried each and every banks cards to online usage (non vbv ) but is not work.i am holding a 59 bank accounts in India and more then 50 bank accounts around the world. ok about your canara bank card,i tried on this card since 2006 or 2007 that time its not worked. now its working or not i will try today ! thanks or the question
I think SBI yuva card is working.... as i could see "accept withdrawals" in my account besides the card..

Could you please let me know what details I need to send to the overseas client for getting money hrough wire transfer? Is it only swift code and the bank account number? I have HDFC bank a/c. Please guide.
@tempest-tossed I think it depends. For my US client, I sent these details and money arrived correctly in my bank account. Beneficiary Bank Name: Your bank name. Bank City and State: Please note that, this can be different from your branch. The reason being, not all branches of a bank will have swift code, so this will be the nearest branch of the bank which has swift code. Bank Country: INDIA ABA or SWIFT Code: Swift code of above branch Name on the bank account: Your name here Address of bank: Actual branch where your account is, as mentioned above, this can be different (or same in case if it has a swift code). Account number: Your account number. For my client in Eurpoe, he is sending it through SBI there (SBI has overseas branch), so they need only my name, account number, branch code and branch name. Also, I thought wire transfer is very expensive, but considering the fee PP charge plus the conversion rate they give, I think both are equal, or wire transfer is better ! But again, that depends. And may not be a good idea for small amounts.
