Why am I getting tons of traffic but no sales from my Pay-Per-Click ads?

I'm spending almost $600 per month on Pay-Per-Click advertising with very poor results. The ads bring in plenty of visitors, but no one is buying. What can I do to keep from going broke from all those useless (and expensive) clicks? Why am I getting tons of traffic but no sales from my Pay-Per-Click ads?

Are you direct linking or using a landing page?

Try narsinghmedia, they have CPA programs... for indian advertisers.... as your seems to be indian travel niche...

once when someone buys a program(travel package) you pay for the ads...

this way you can save money .... spent unnecessarily on adsense...

Answer is just simple; the ads are not targetted.

Give a research on your product compared with other sites where you serve ads. An insurance ad/spare parts ad on automotive page would bring sales but NOT an ad for hotel!

Make sure you choose the right place to spend for ads than junk advertising.

I would revisit the keyword list and landing pages.

If you're getting a lot of traffic then you're ads are probably ok. Is your keyword set very broad? If so, you are probably getting a lot of traffic from people in the research stage rather than those ready to buy.

Also look at where on the site you are sending the visitors. Are you sending them all to the home page or to the page that most closely relates to their keyword?

I also noticed that a few pages on your site do not have any content. This isn't a good user experience and might be causing visitors to drop off. Apply Google Analytics tracking to your site and have a look at what visitors are doing once they arrive on site.
