I am interested to know if anyone actually gets any traffic from twitter. Whenever I log in to twitter its just full of people sending me links and I get turned off by it. I pretty much turn it off straight away. I often wonder if everyone's the same or people actually read the updates and click the links. ???
You have to use it properly to see any results. Take a look at the free report in my signature if you like, it will give you a better idea of how some marketing professionals are using Twitter.
I get a little traffic from my tweets-depends a lot on your message-it's gotta grab attention and be somewhat intriguing.
Hi i have a blog, and i have just set up a twitter account today, i was wondering how the best way to get followers, i have put a 'follow me' button on my blog, is that really the only way. Thanks http://shareurlinks.blogs.linkbucks.com/
We get a few that we can trace directly back to Twitter. But, who can say that we don't get visits from people who saw us on Twitter and but come to the site from somewhere else.
Get a twitter plugin that posts your blogs to twitter, then post loads of articles relating to your niche, they will be automatically updated to twitter and you will get followers
Hi, We have been using our twitter account and we have driven people to our website that is http://sevenonetwofive.com/ Nevertheless, you can also drive users away if you don't use the Twitter tool correctly(you must have experienced several tweets from users that look like spam). My recommendation would be tweeting information that is pertinent to your company and the user(e.g: if you own an auto detailing business post links to articles that offer information on how to polish a car etc); this will improve your brand and from time to time you can link your tweets to your website. Also, I have been offering this link to users that can grasp some of the little tricks and tips for twitter. Hope this information helps you, http://brent.rangen.net/?p=342 Vicente Tulliano
you have to tweet a lot to get traffic. I have my ways - but believe me - I do get a lot of traffic from Twitter. I really believe it is targeted traffic -but my conversions say otherwise
Not a lot. If some of my articles get Retweeted 50-60+ times then maybe I'll see a small influx, but usually these will lead to front page of Delicious of PopURL's, which then overpowers the referalls through Twitter.
I have a blog, and when I publish a new post it brings some visitors from twitter. Some people come right away as I publish the post.
Depends on your content and followers you have , if both this things are good you will surely get followers.
you can get traffic from twitters, but it depends on how you tweet it and are your tweets actually ads most of the time or pure information/interesting stuffs that grab their attention.. as most likely they have many other twitters in their account who send tweets so often that it can easily bury your tweets to bottom very fast.
twitter traffic depend on your message, what you are tweeting, when you start tweeting you will see many people following of your interest, twitter is very good tool for traffic
Twitter is getting huge traffic and exposure every day. Still to what i think the amount of traffic it send is nothing as compared to other social networks. Tweets might get some traffic as you will rank higher in search engines but directly from Twitter, no success!!
