What the most you have ever sold a domain for

I have a couple of domain names for sale, one of them I believe is prety cool, but I have never offered more than a couple of hunderd dollars for it.

Have anyone sold a domain name recently?
Is there any recommended marketplace for domain names? (I have used Sedo.com, but recently I do not get any offers from them).

    Thanks.

You can post them in popular domain name forums like Namepros and DNforum and see what kind of offers you get.

Head over to NamePros.com and ask for some appraisals. If you post the domains here, I'll tell you if I think they are worth anything or not.

$10,000 for Bernies.com after getting it on ebay for under $300.

The seller had no idea about the large regional retailer in my area. Helped with the down payment on my house!

Last year I sold one for $1100. It was a good generic with type-in traffic. DNF is where all the domainers hang out.

What about these domains? They could be used by anyone who wants to start a "YouSendit" or similar site:

    EZSECURESEND.COM
    SECUREFILESEND.COM
    SECUREFILESNOW.COM

I never sold any domain, but I got a $2000 offer for playvox.com, at sedo, but the the deal never closed so I am not sure if it was a serious offer.
