    is it possible to register an email account with smtp or imap or pop3?
    i mean that i had shared hosting i want users to register email accounts directly is it possible. i can do it in cpannel but i want users to register directly.

    According to my knowledge, you can't do this with a shared hosting account as the email ports are handled by another server usually. This is possible with a solution like dedicated hosting where you have your own mail server.

    Well I think you want to give free email address service like gmail.com hotmail.com

    There are scripts for that if you search like "hotmail clone script" and probably you can do that also on shared hosting. I don't think there are 1000's of people waiting to have an email address from your domain as there are so many free email address providers...
