Hey guys, Im looking to buy some relatively cheap hosting. I only plan on hosting one site, which is a rapidshare premium link generator (my script does not store files/just streams them). Im looking for storage that is around 1gb and then bandwidth that is in the TB's -> Unmetered. Hopefully your server is in the USA and has excellent speeds. you'll never find anything reliable or stable. If you need terabytes of bandwidth, get a dedicated server because bandwidth isn't cheap and in order to use up terabytes of bandwidth, you need good hardware that can sustain the load.
if you are using rapidshare streaming script it will consume lot of ram, btw how much is your budget ? i see you mentioned TBS of transfer, so real TBS of data will cost real $$$
You're kidding, right? Where can you possibly host him on a shared hosting environment to meet his requirements? There is no such thing as a real shared host that can deliver TBs of (Good SPEED as he asked) Bandwidth to just a single client... unless of course that would be their only client on the whole server, in which case it would be called dedicated server not shared hosting and it would cost somewhere in the 3 digits $$$ Anyway good luck to the OP on his new host.
I agree. It's properly someone looking to "get rich quick" by overselling until he can't anymore. -- Although you have already found a provider I highly suggest you look into dedicated servers or at least a high end VPS. Jack
The only way to host these type of sites is on a dedicated server we currently host our site RS Link Gen on one using 8 meg ram and 1gig connection the storage is not a big problem as they dont actually store anything on the server so it mainly bandwidth,processor speed and ram that are required.Good luck with your new site
