I haven't really monetized it. I had put some AdSense ads on it but then removed it as I knew I'd sell it later which would get me the revenue.

Pal, Im damn sure many Older & News sites will take the first page positions once the IPL starts.I doubt if this site will stay any longer,since there is not much content related to the IPL, apart from the domain

 

Well $1000 is the MAX. And there have been loads of news related to IPL on famous news websites. There was the major auction inspite of which the website maintained position. As I said, I didn't update it frequently. And if you do update it and add your ads/paid posts, I am pretty sure you will do well
The IPL is just 20 days away and I believe its a good time to be at the top page.
